About the Recipe
All I can really say to these is wow... out of all the desserts we have made I gotta say this has got to be at the top. These cookies are vegan, easy to make and use minimal ingredients making them a god damn dreaaammmm...who doesn’t love chocolate and almond butter honestly!? Ingredients
FOR THE COOKIES:
1.5 cups almond flour
3 tbsp almond butter
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
FOR THE CHOCOLATE:
1/2 cup dark choc
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp almond milk
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl combine cookie ingredients and mix until well combined. Form into cookies and create a small dent in the centre with your thumb. Bake for 20 mins on 180°C. Allow cookies to cool.
Step 2
Add a small spoonful of almond butter to the indents of each cookie. Place in the freezer for 30 mins.
Step 3
Melt chocolate ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat. Dip cookies in chocolate sauce and allow to set for 30 minutes in the fridge.
Step 4
Sprinkle with salt and enjoy!
