There’s no denying that it is easy to fall into a trap of creating an unhealthy lifestyle for yourself. Let’s be real, its winter, we are living in the middle of a pandemic where lockdowns are the new norm and uncertain times have become prevalent. Exercise can seem like a chore rather than love, especially when gyms are restricted meaning motivation is at an all time low.
However, do not worry - you are not the only one who is feeling like this and there are many ways you can turn this around! We have created a few healthy habits and tips to get back at feeling your happiest and most radiant self.
Tip #1 - Nourish your body with wholesome, nutritious food
An easy way to change the way you feel (whether that be sluggish, tired, lethargic) is through FOOD. Ensuring you are eating a well-balanced diet is crucial to your health and well-beong and will dramatically impact the way you live your everyday life. Loading up on wholefoods that naturally support your gut health, digestion, and liver function will lead you on the path back to where you once were. So what does a wholesome, balanced diet look like?

Tip #2 - Get Adequate Sleep
Aim for at least 7-9 hours of sleep per night. Aim to incorporate some before-bed rituals. Some of these could include:

Tip #3 - Exercise Regularly
Whether it is a walk, yoga or more high intensity exercise such as a run or cardio training, move your body! Exercise releases happy endorphins which help you feel your best. However, do not over-work your body, as this is where injuries can occur, poor recovery and high cortisol levels. Aim for 30 mins per day, and try hit 10,000 steps a day.
Tip #4 - Focus on Self-Care
Before anything and anyone else, make sure you are looking after yourself. Some simple self-care habits can increase the likeliness of a productive and calm-minded day largely. Some easy self-care habits include:
